School Information
APIS is located near the heart of Seoul, Korea (820 Wolgye 2-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, Korea - which is about a 30 min drive from the Seoul city center). APIS classrooms and administrative offices are housed in a main academic building (with 60+ classrooms and offices). In addition, the APIS campus includes an auditorium, children`s playground, athletic field, and gymnasium. In APIS state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, the school takes advantage of its superb IT-infrastructure in every possible aspect of the learning experience to provide the most innovative and up-to-date education. All of its classrooms have wireless broadband connections and equipped with Smart Boards™.

School Structure |
APIS has been formally certified by the Korea`s Ministry of Education in 2006 to provide a U.S.-style educational curriculum in 3 school divisions. The Elementary School includes students from pre-school to Grade 5. The Middle School serves students from Grade 6-8. The High School serves students from Grade 9-12. |

Required Documents and Application Procedures |
The Rolling Admissions Policy While there is no specific deadline for application, admission decision is made on a first-come-first-serve basis. This means that the application process will end when available enrollment spots are filled. There is a clear advantage of applying early. In order for the admissions review of the student`s application to begin, the following items must be submitted: 1. Application form fully completed. 2. Four recent 3x4 size photos 3. Proof of eligibility to attend a foreign school in Korea (as per the 4 categories mentioned above -All applicants must submit a photocopy of valid passports (Student, Father and Mother). 4. Certificate of Enrollment from the student¡¯s current school. 5. Official, sealed transcripts or report cards sent directly from the student`s most recent school(s) attended. For elementary school, the most recent two years are required; for middle and high school, the most recent three years are required. (Note: Transcripts and recommendation letters in a language other than English must be translated to English and the original must be submitted along with the translation. For high school transcripts, the translation must be certified by a notary.) 6. Official results from the most recent standardized tests (e.g. Stanford 10, ITBS, Terra Nova, CAT, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT) where applicable. 7. The Application Processing Fee (KRW 800,000) (KRW 400,000 - refundable if the applicant is rejected by APIS). |
